ProStep® safety stair nosings

Heavy duty, durable and long lasting
ProStep® stair nosing is manufactured from reinforced aluminum extrusion, milled in a square faced anodised finish to provide a long term attractive non-slip solution.
Ultimate in anti-slip safety
ProStep® is available with an R10 rated polymeric rippled or R13 rated carborundum grit surface insert to provide the ultimate in safety stair nosing. The carborundum insert provides the highest possible safety rating and is particularly suitable for external wet areas. ProStep® stair nosing exceeds the requirements of the Australian/New Zealand Standards for anti-slip AS/NZ 4586:2004 and the Building Code of Australia.
Easy to install for both indoor and outdoor applications
ProStep® stair nosing is supplied pre-drilled, counter sunk and cut to length, with all necessary stainless steel fixing screws and anchors, ready to install. ProStep® is available with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing on both the underside of the extrusion and insert, to ensure proper bedding. This stops annoying rocking or rattling during service. Once installed, any unsightly screws are concealed to ensure the product can not be tampered with. So your investment will continue to look great for a long time.
ProStep® stair nosings are easy to retro-fit on to concrete, ceramic tiles, timber, carpet (direct stick), carpet with underlay and most other surfaces.
Available to suit carpet over underlay applicatons
ProStep® is available to suit most hard surface applications and is now available to suit carpet over underlay installations. The design of ProStep® CA is specially designed for applications requiring a much higher degree of rigidity along the nosing length. The design of the ProStep® CA profile is also square faced and knurled to ensure optimum safety in carpeted areas.
Compliance
ProStep® stair nosing inserts are 50mm wide and available in 5 standard colours to meet the minimum depth and luminance contrast requirements of the Building Code of Australia BCA3.2 and the Australian/New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1428 Part 1 Design for access and mobility.
